On February 13Th I shot in a local USPSA match. I won Two stages, the Open Division and High overall. Not a bad match for me. I felt kinda slow so I focused on being efficient and shooting good points.  It was good to see some Friends I hadn't seen for a while and well, I just had a good time. I'm getting ready for the Alabama Section match next month.      Continue

Had a few stove pipes in my open gun. It appears they hit the bottom of the scope mount. I thought I had this problem fixed....I went around 5000 rounds without any problems until now. I had 3 stovepipes at the TN Sectional. I'm sure it was partly due to the gun being dirty, etc., etc....however, 3 times in 5000 is 3 times too many. I'm gunna give the Cheely mount a try. I don't like the way it looks but I need to be confident the gun will run.

I went to the Sig academy this past weekend and shot their "Nipper" match. I was a combo of steel challenge and idpa scored ipsc stages. It was a fun match. I stayed relaxed and felt I shot well. I would go there again it is a fantastic range. The people from sig are great.

Finished this up this weekend. It was a long week being MD for this match. We started setting up last sunday and tore it all down this past sunday. Several looooong days of work. I finished 1st Master but I was behind several A class guys (masters in Limited) and I wasn't happy with all the penalties I accrued. I really need to focus on front sight the next few weeks before Area 6 and SS nationals.
